| Even though we are naval architects, we still refer back to Prof.
Benford's book from time to time. His clear, understandable
explanations and diagrams make the fundamentals of boat and ship design
easy to understand. A novice can pick up this book and get a good sense
of how boats "work," and a professional can use this book to refresh
their memory, reminding them of where they want to look in, say,
"Principals of Naval Architecture" for more detail on a given topic. |
